Curriculum
Carl Orff Music

There are different Carl Orff Music Activities in each quarter, with two readers in each term:

Nursery Class:

Children are engaged and pleasant when participating in music activities. They are able to make sounds using different body parts, respond to pitch changes with corresponding gestures, draw different lines while listening to music and learn different musical instruments.

Lower Class:

Children are able to express feelings through musical games, create postures according to the rhythm, identify solfège and note names, and play musical instruments correctly.

Upper Class:

Children can identify the changes in tempo of music, distinguish music forms and role-play based on the music. In addition, through creating musical instruments according to stories, children will understand crotchets, quavers and semiquavers. They can also perform by reading the music scores and play in duets or quartets as instructed.
