Information on Admission in the 2024/25 School Year

Eligibility of applicants：
The applicants must be born on or before 31 December 2021

Application methods：

Parents could fill in the online application form on school website during application period. Parents should attach the documents below in the online application form:

• (A) Recent passport photo of child and Birth Certificate
• (B) Bank deposit slip of the application fee 
•     -[Parents could deposit HK$40 in our school account of “Dah Sing Bank” through Dah Sing bank (Bank account no.: 7830000498, account name︰C & M A Church Verbena Kindergarten). Please write down the applicant name clearly on bank deposit slip. (If any)] 
  

《Remarks：The result of application acceptance is not based on a first-come-first-served basis. Parents will receive a confirmation email after online application. Parents should accompany the applicant to attend the interview according to the interview date and time.》

Application Date：Start from 24 August 2023

Interview date for K.1 classes：4 November 2023 (Sat)

Interview format：
The interview is game oriented (including simple social conversation, body co-ordination activities and sensory play etc.), and the teacher will observe the applicants’ responses.

※ When interviewing NCS children, we will arrange interpretation or translation service for applicants where necessary. Parents and children may also be accompanied by a Chinese speaking relative/friend during the interview to facilitate communication.

Admission criteria:

1. Interview performance
2. Applicants with sibling(s) currently studying in our school will be given due priority consideration  
3. Children or siblings of our alumni will be given due priority consideration 

* As the number of school places is limited, please understand that not all applicants fulfilling the priority will be guaranteed a school place

Announcement of Admission Results︰
We will inform parents of the K.1 admission results by email on 15 November 2023.

First Verification: 23 to 25 Novemeber 2023 (Thur to Sat)

• ※ The original and the photocopy of the applicant’s Birth Certificate (The original is for reference only)
• ※ The original and the photocopy of the Hong Kong Childhood Immunisation Programme (HKCIP) Record (The original is for reference only)
• ※ The original of the “2024/25 Registration Certificate”
• ※ One stamped (HK$2.2) self-addressed envelope
• ※ Registration fee HK$970.00

《Remarks: The registration fee for 2024/25 half-day classes is $970. The fee will be reimbursed within a month after the students start school. However, if the student decides to study in another kindergarten after registration, parents should notify us in written form. In this case, while the registration certificate will be returned, the registration fee will be non-refundable. Also, the student who decides to study in another kindergarten will lose his/her place in our school once the registration certificate is returned.》

Applicants on the waiting list：

We will contact applicants on the waiting list by phone call should there be any vacancy.
(Applicants may refer to the K.1 vacancy information released by EDB after the “centralized registration dates” from late January 2024)
